Read and answer all questions on the handout for Man's Search for Meaning. You must answer in complete sentences (points will be taken off). Provide textual support for most of your answers. Cite the page numbers. You do not have to write the questions, although you may if you like. Number your questions.
You should answer twenty questions per week. You will be able to read and answer questions in many classes (not all classes).
By May 6--first twenty
By May 13--forty questions
By May 20--sixty questions
By May 27--have finished all questions
Your questions should be answered in an MLA-formatted Word document--print out what you have done by Friday of every week. Keep a copy in your binder. Also keep an electronic version of your document on your laptop computer. Your work could be collected any Friday for a grade.
Do not take the books home. A copy of the book is available for free on the internet. Simply google the title. The first item listed is an electronic version of the text.
You may keep the handout of questions.
Please note: This assignment will not be your only work. You will have other assignments as well. Although you will have time in school occasionally to read and do the questions, you are expected to complete the work at home as well by using the electronic copy of the book on the internet. Do not take the book from my classroom. This is a very easy assignment--a few questions each night. Be sure you keep up with the work, as I may collect it or give quizzes on the reading.
A handout of the questions was distributed in class. If you misplace the handout, ask a peer if you can take pictures of the three pages.
Please note: The questions on the handout refer to the printed book, which is approximately 4-6 pages ahead of the electronic copy.
