Read "Lost Child in the Woods" on page 300 in the gold and green literature textbook, Into Literature, on the blue table in the back of the room (next to the filing cabinets). Do not take these books out of the room. Before the end of the period, place the books back in neat piles on the blue table. This book is also available electronically on your laptop.
In your binder, answer all the red annotation prompts in the margins of the text--label this section, Part One--Annotations. Also, write at least one paragraph about the red "Collaborative Discussion" activity on page 302--label this section, Part Two--Collaborative Discussion. Then answer the Assessment Practice multiple choice questions on page 303--label this section, Part Three: Assessment Practice. Finally, write at least one paragraph describing similarities in this author's ideas with those of Thoreau (Walden)--label this section, Connections Between Louv and Thoreau.
Your document, which you will keep in your binder, should be handwritten with an MLA heading and header, with no extra space between the lines on your paper. Write neatly.
