Read and annotate the text and complete the assignment of a Word document for Important Reading Questions (Canvas) and answers (with a vocabulary section). You must include each type of question specified on Canvas (not random questions--you will get no credit if I collect them.) You should have a Word document for the annotations. Electronic copies of these documents should be on your laptop computer, and printed-out documents should be in your binder (for the entirety of the semester--to be collected at any time). Be sure your printed-out text is readable. You have plenty of time to find a printer with ink. I will take points off any unreadable document because of poor print quality.
It is always helpful to research some biographical facts about the author. Use Google and write notes in your binder.
Remember, you can upload a picture of an annotated printout of the story to your laptop (instead of a Word document of annotations),
Also, you must staple an Important Reading Questions Checklist document (with appropriate checkmarks--actually check what is indicated) to the front of the Reading Questions assignment. The Important Reading Questions must match those questions on Canvas and on this website (see post or link below). Google: Important Reading Questions Checklist and print it out. If you do not have this checklist, points will be deducted.
